Urgent position for Technical Delivery Manager-Java in Bangalore

Hi, I have this urgent position of Technical Delivery Manager in Java with a telecom client of mine in Bangalore. Candidate should come from a product background. Responsibilities Experience managing end-end lifecycle of complex and large project deliveries Experience managing Java/J2EE Application development Projects from an Engineering as well as Project Management perspective Status Reporting, tracking, escalating issues, Risk Management for owned deliveries Manage concurrent application releases and large engineering teams to deliver quality software releases on time Contribute to the definition of the team processes and standards Coordinate the work of a team of stake holders in the delivery of complex projects Understand needs of multiple projects and communicate them divisionally and/or cross-divisionally . Essential Skills (Skills without which the person cannot perform the role, limit to a maximum of four skills only ) Experience in building large scale Enterprise applications Extensive experience with Application Performance, Scalability and Reliability Demonstrate complete commercial relational database and middleware technologies experience Innovate and create solutions to very complex problems Project Management Effective verbal and written communication skills Overall Skills and Experience (Include skills that in addition to the essential skills are required for the person to perform the role in a better way ) Experience managing complex project deliveries end-to-end Experience managing Enterprise Application development Projects both from an Engineering and Project Management perspective Status Reporting, tracking, escalating issues, Risk Management for owned deliveries Manage concurrent application releases and large engineering teams to deliver quality software releases on time Contribute to the definition of the team processes and standards Coordinate the work of a team of stake holders in the delivery of complex projects Understand needs of multiple projects and communicate them divisionally and/or cross- divisionally Qualifications Essential Possess B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field Possess typically 8-12 years of previous software engineering or related experience, out of which 2+ years experience as a Technical Delivery Manager Demonstrate prior experience in the professional leadership positions Deliver complex deliveries on time and with a high degree of quality Articulate clearly solutions to complex business problems involving multiple domain areas Provide technical and functional guidance and direction to team members Possess excellent written and oral communication skills Desirable Telecom domain experience will be a plus Working with large Telco service providers is a plus.
