8 to 10 years experience in leading multiple test teams working on System Software, Multimedia and Application domains.
Experience in Test Planning, Test Estimation, QA processes and Test Automation is highly desirable.
Exposure working with onsite teams in US necessary.
Experience working in Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 7), Linux/Unix environments is needed.
Good communication and team skills are a necessity for this job.
Knowledge on PC Hardware and X86 architecture is desirable.
Experience in scripting using C, C++, C#, VB Script and Shell Script is highly desirable
Experience working with both Blackbox and white box testing techniques is desirable
Experience working with tools such as Mercury Test Director, TeamTrack, Bugzilla, QTP, SilkTest, Microsoft Project etc. is desirable.
Primary purpose: To lead multiple teams testing software applications on Windows and Linux which are developed for AMD Processor and Chipset programs.

Key Job functions:

With limited direction, work with software development teams to create and execute test plans for a variety of software deliverables.
Write and Review comprehensive test plans and automation test scripts, based upon test requirements, to insure compliance to specification and overall quality goals are achieved.
Estimate, Plan and track test execution to meet timelines and schedules.
Prepare test reports and participate in weekly status meetings.
Guide Test technicians and test Engineers in execution of test cases.
